Cufflinks, recycled silver, reticultated, ethical metal, made in Cologne These cufflinks are deceptively simple. Through repeatedly heating the surface to melting point, I've created a subtle structure of folds and rivulets. At four grams they have a comfortable weight without being so heavy that they pull the cuffsout of shape. All my silver is recycled, none is newly mined, which has a measurable impact on the environment. The cufflinks measure 11.5mm x 12.5mm and come in a white presentation box. All my metal is from a company which is a member of the Responsible Jewelry Council. They deal only in recycled silver and gold. They smelt their metals to the highest environmental standards, to cause the least impact on the environment. They do not deal with newly mined metals, as these metals cause much greater destruction to the environment. There is no visible difference between recycled metals and newly-mined metals. The vast majority of my clients prefer their metals recycled, as environmental impact is of concern when choosing the perfect piece of jewelry.
